As the title implies (or explicitly states, if you want to split hairs), I wasn’t able to get around to writing a formal post for this month. Other projects, plus a fair amount of general chicanery,  took precedence. Please know that your palpable disappointment will satiate my ego for weeks on end. However,  I can offer you an episode of the long-forgotten TBS sitcom Rocky Road. It’s not important how I stumbled upon this, but I do owe the gods of Entertainment Crap some huge offerings. I missed the 1985-87 run of this show by a year: my parents gave up on waiting for the whole cable TV craze to blow over and finally hooked us up in 1988. But anyway. Drink in the basic cable masterpiece that is Rocky Road. This was an actual thing.
